It is hot. The hottest summer in years. And the driest.
107 this afternoon, and nearly 60 days of over 100 degree temps.
No rain.
A couple of days ago, for about 5 minutes, we heard the sound of light rain falling on our roof and the trees. Not enough to really even get the cars wet.
But a breath of cooler air.
And a promise that rain will come again.

I would gladly send you some of our cooler, moister air if I could. Since that is impossible, I'll just keep praying for the drought to break. **grin**
I sure do wish you could send us some cooler air, but I think the prayers will be more effective ;)
