I too am ...Wow,
I really like what you have to say. I too am a teacher but in the pacific northwest. In two neighboring suburban/small town districts. I have a tendency to speak my mind and find that it tends to be a little safer for me to do so through blogging rather than in the community. Don't get me wrong, I do speak up when it is important and is in the best interest of the studnets, but I do have to stop and think sometimes so that I don't put my foot in my mouth or is it shoot myself in the foot. Anyhoo, I use a pseudo name because my best friend, Esther, got me started on blogging and I link to her comments a lot. She currently needs to remain anonomys for legal reasons and as we have been friends for so long that I have to be careful not to expose her. Not because I am afraid someone won't agree with my comments/opinions. Anyway, come visit my blog. I have a feeling I could learn from you!OneTeacherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00177514419440967510noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24503693.post-55620356573707942862007-07-25T08:34:00.000-05:002007-07-25T08:34:00.000-05:00This is one of the reasons that I enjoy reading yo...This is one of the reasons that I enjoy reading your blog! I'm so glad that you introduced yourself to me while commenting about lo-carb eating!

You are right about blogging being a literary form, just like letter writing, only it is open to whosoever will!MotherThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03166276610825725009noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24503693.post-58443867624898767222007-07-24T21:20:00.000-05:002007-07-24T21:20:00.000-05:00Jan, your literary theory is quite intriguing, and...Jan, your literary theory is quite intriguing, and unknowingly one I would subscribe to as well because I've also looked at blogs as conversational tools. Believing that the first part is the writer's post--pitching the ball. The second part is a commenter's input--throwing the ball back. The immediacy of blogging and its conversation is both thrilling and intimidating.

Thanks for your thoughts.Lisa Hellierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08247624724011594390noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24503693.post-68863215432458183522007-07-24T11:41:00.000-05:002007-07-24T11:41:00.000-05:00Excellent!
